The World Golf Hall of Fame's mission is to honor and celebrate golf's greatest players and contributors to the game as inspiration to golfers and golf fans worldwide. Supported by all of the world's leading golf
organizations, the Hall honors its members through displays of personal memorabilia, interactive exhibits and historical artifacts. Visitors should plan three hours or more for their visit and have the option of adding a 170-stop audio tour to their admission.
The World Golf Hall of Fame gives visitors a comprehensive look at what it takes to become one of its esteemed members as well as the history of golf from its development in Scotland and the history of The Open Championship through today. Stories of the Hall's members are told throughout the museum and paid a distinctive tribute in Shell Hall, where an expansive "Wall of Fame" features hand-crafted bronze plaques of each member, a breath-taking tribute to their accomplishments.
At the top of the World Golf Hall of Fame Tower is The Trophy Room, which displays all of the sport's significant tournament trophies, including men's and women's majors. The Hall's Member Locker Room contains a solid wood locker for each member, giving guests the opportunity to view over 2,500 pieces of authentic memorabilia. Each year, the World Golf Hall of Fame opens special temporary exhibits featuring its members as well as exhibits that honor the most recent Hall of Fame Inductees.
Adjacent to the Hall of Fame is the 300-seat World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater which offers a variety of entertaining and educational movies for all ages throughout the year.
