Promotional Statement

Indy's Hall of Fame Museum is on the grounds of the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400 auto races and the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis.

Playing host to more than 200,000
visitors annually the museum is open 9 to 5 daily except Christmas.

Exhibits - some interactive - tell the story of almost 90 years of motor racing at the Speedway. Race cars, race engines, a wide variety of race machinery and auto racing memorabilia are displayed along
with a diverse selection of historic passenger cars.

Founded 43 years ago, the museum contains gift shops, a library, the track's photography department and a movie theater. Rare film footage from Speedway archives
provides visitors a thrilling glimpse of racing action through the years.

Busses stand by near the front doors of the museum to give visitors a tour of the 2 1/2-mile track(when conditions permit) or a
behind-the-scenes tour of the Speedway's 300-acre infield.
