Frequently Asked Questions about the International Sports Heritage Association

The ISHA staff is eager to help you make the most of your membership and take advantage of all ISHA has to offer. Below are some questions we hear frequently; you may find some information you need, too!

When is the next conference?
October 24-26, 2012, The International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum, Newport, Rhode Island.  Click here for more information

How can I get registration information on the conference?
The information is posted on this website, and you can print the conference schedule and download the registration form as soon as available.

When should we receive newsletters?
ISHA E-newsletters are published in February, May, August and November. The newsletter is distributed as a PDF to the membership usually toward the middle or end of the months listed above. Since it is delivered as a PDF, we encourage all members to share it with their colleagues, internally and externally, and help spread the word of ISHA.

How do I subscribe to ISHA's listserve?
Send an e-mail to the ISHA office (info@sportsheritage.org) listing the e-mail addresses you wish to subscribe. Each member of ISHA may subscribe any number of professional staff members.

When will we receive our dues notice?
Dues notices are mailed in late December; they are due back by March 31st. All ISHA memberships expire on March 31 of each year.

How much are dues?
For Regular Members, annual dues are US $185.00 for institutions with annual budgets less than US $250,000, or US $275.00 for institutions with annual budgets greater than US $250,000, or US $450.00 for institutions with annual budgets greater than US $750,000. First year dues include a $50 enrollment fee. Renewal dues ares $50 less than the fees stated. Should your membership lapse, the $50 enrollment fee will apply for reinstatement.

Associate member dues are US $275.00 for For-Profit Corporations and Organizations, US$185.00 for Non-Profit Organizations, and US$185.00 for individuals.

How can I get extra copies of the printed directory?
Contact the ISHA office (info@sportsheritage.org) and ask for as many copies as you need. Within reason, extra copies of the directory are free to ISHA members on a first-come, first-served basis as long as supplies last. We also make it available as a PDF on the members side of our site.  It is also available online.

How can I update the information on my institution that appears on ISHA's websites (www.sportsheritage.org or www.sportsheritage.org/members)?
Send corrected information to the ISHA office at info@sportsheritage.org.
